Format and Function
These homeowners loved their home, but the primary bathroom was cramped and dated (complete with a soffit over the shower and vanity bringing the ceiling down). There was one 2’ closet in the room as well. To make the space function, we used the existing footprint of the bathroom and added the closet. We then moved the bathroom door location and created space for a fabulous shower, double vanity and linen tower. We carved off some space from the adjoining guest room to make a closet (and smaller, but functional, guest room). We replaced the mantle in the bedroom and a new bed and rug complemented the existing furnishings.
The hall bathroom underwent a few changes as well, primarily cosmetic with new tile and paint, but a new vanity increased the functionality of the guest bath/laundry room.
